C. A. Ayres grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as the daughter of Italian and English/Portuguese immigrants who had fallen in love with the tropical land. Since her time in high school and college, she has written plays, directed and performed around the country, was a finalist in several writing contests around the world, and has had her short stories and articles distributed largely in magazines across several countries and languages. She received a B.A. in Communications - Journalism from Sao Paulo Catholic University and a B. S. and M.Sc. in Psychology from Sao Paulo University. As an accomplished storyteller, she uses real-life experiences to bring her stories to life, writing inspirational non-fiction, memoirs, women's fiction, and romance. She has been self/indie and traditionally published. Ayres now lives in Utah in the United States with her family and enjoys photography, cinema, and traveling.
